The releases of the Professional (MCITP) exams for the Windows Vista operating system will be delayed in order to ensure that they have adequate application support coverage.

?In the interest of maintaining the quality of Microsoft Certifications, however, we need to add content to exams 70-621, 70-622, and 70-623 in order to maintain appropriate alignment with the intended job roles.? Microsoft said. These exams will be released on May 15, 16, and 17, respectively.

Exam 70-620 will not be affected. Candidates may continue to register for this exam. And the Exam 70-624 is on track for a February 14 release.

I have expected such a delay in the release of these exams in a previous post. Microsoft is just playing it too carefully with anything regarding Vista. They want to make it perfect. But we all know that Windows is not perfect.

However, the three months delay is too much according to Microsoft?s alleged reasons and one may think that Vista itself is not so complete.
