Cisco Press has recently announced a new product ?CCNP Video Mentor?. Today we will take a look on it and find out how good it is.

?CCNP Video Mentor is a DVD-ROM software product. The enclosed DVD contains a series of succinct instructional videos that demonstrate how to accomplish various CCNP-level configuration tasks on Cisco routers and switches. The 16 videos contained in this product total over 5 hours of instruction.?

The instructor doing the work in these videos is Kevin Wallace. He is a well reputed Cisco instructor with very good practical experience. In these videos he focuses on practical aspects of CCNP exams. A good point in this product is that it covers the new CCNP exams.

These videos concentrate on practical implementations. These implementations can be very helpful for the self-study students who seek to get the CCNP on their on. The announced price for this product is $89.99. It might seem a bit too much for videos, but I am sure that it would be useful to self-studiers, especially those who do not have the opportunity to practice on real labs.
