Cisco announced today the deployment of a new subnetting educational game to make the learning of subnetting easier.

Upon my experience, subnetting has been on of the greater dilemmas to network certification seekers. And introducing it in such a funny way is a good idea. Probably, some people feel uncomfortable for the fact that they are learning from a game.

Cisco has put this warning in their website about this game:

You will need to know a little about subnetting before you start. So if you have never learned about subnetting (or would just like a review) we suggest you take a few minutes to read this brief paper: Learn About Subnetting. After playing the game for just a short time we hope you will suddenly say, "Oh, now I get it!"

And before you know it, they will be subnetting just like the Pro's!?
